Active brackish water fish

I'd go with a school of mono argenteus or mono senbae. You should be able to find them young 1-2". They'll grow but 3 or 4 would be nice in your brackish. I also have Columbian cats and a Datinoid.

thanks for the info jonny5, how many monos would i need to do? i know that they like to be in groups.

I have 3 in my 75g right now and it is the perfect number, I would love more but our tank size is really pushing it. If you get only 2 then usually one gets dominant and can stress kill the other. Orange chromides I like because they are very active, but its luck of the draw because mine are *******s and push around the monos and archers. I also have a krib who I love but they stay on the bottom.

Your other route could be to stay with small fishes and salt tolerant freshwater ones. If your main focus is keeping happy dragon gobies then you really only need light salinity with a minimum of about 1.003sg. This range will allow you to keep salt tolerant freshwater species. for instance, you could have your violet gobies and mollies with Celebes rainbows (gorgeous fish) and swordtails (pineapple swordtails are very pretty) and guppies (some goregoues varieties), some of the more hardy rainbowfish will work too.
