My alligator gar seems to be super active today in his tank. Every other day he just like floats around really lazy...we recently added two fish to his tank, is it normal for him to become super active when new fish are introduced?

Yes most times introducing tankmates will stimulate an unactive fish.

Thats very possible lol my Gar stayed hungry.
