Active in the Morning

Any of you guys have a fire/TT that is very active in the morning?


I am home in the morning from like 630ish to 8ish and my Fire Eel is all over the place. Top, bottom, open water, everything. digging in the gravel, hanging off the filters and heater, ect. Then like around noon, he finds his spot and chills most of the day.

Even at night he chills. i have been up pretty later drunk and he doesn't move around much in the middle of the night.

mines like that when im home in the mornin or real late at night rest of the time he chills

My TT eel chills in his pvc pipe most of the time. Every time the tops are taken off he's on the food hunt though ....

my last one was like that.. he stole krill out of my oscars mouths and all sort of stuff.

If a worm is hanging from the mouth of my severum or snook it is fair game to my eel lol. Many of fights have broken out (vs the royal knife too)... the fire eel wins every time lol

ya seemed like my old tt was always pickin on the biggeat oscar that way... but they where buds when food wasnt involved lol

My TT (which is exactly 16", I measured it today) is always out in the early morning (6:00-7:00am) and in the evening, as well as multiple random times throughout the day.
