Active lapradie??...

How is the activity level of your lapradi?... Active? Sometimes active? Not very active? or Dead?? :D jk!

In my past experience keeping, all of the lapradeis I've ever kept have always been pretty much NOT active (except when coming to the surface for air of course)... But lately, my current lapradei that I have now, has been quite VERY active! It free swims and floats around the entire tank, with the rest of the endlys... And they are VERY active... (most of you have seen vids??). :)

Personally, I have never seen another lapradie be as active as this one.. I'm really happy and glad to see this happening... In My Tank!! J/k! But seriously, it does feel good to finally see it comfortably come to the top surface and feed on floating pellets and krill. Right along the side, with the rest of the endlys and congicus. I will try posting a vid of this 'active' lapradie sometime soon. Thanks :)
 
The lap I had was more nocturnal but he would be out during the patroling his tank every hour or so -Anne

Hi Anne, all my past laps have been more nocturnal as well. This one was mainly feeding on sinking pellets and raw shrimp (if able to reach the bottom, before getting eaten up by the other polys?). Well, I ran out of sinking pellets recently and hadn't fed any for the last past week 1/2 or so. i guess the lap finally got tired and hungry enough to finally come to the top and feed on floating pellets, just like the rest of the other polys... and this is when the tank light are on. :)
