Disclaimer - I'm a pleco newbie:D

Planning to add a few new plecos to my peaceful SA tanks. I've noticed that the ones that I currently have are very different in terms of activity - the albino bristlenose are fairly active during the day, the royal pleco is ok, and the L114...I see it once in a couple of months :(

Here is a list I'm considering. I guess they are probably all nocturnal but was wondering which ones are more active with lights on? Thanks...

L-204, L-333, L-239, L-201, L-199, L-129, L-052, L-200, L-326, L-034, L-018, L-255.

My L200 is quite active...even feeding in plain view in the day.

I dont have experience with ones on your list but I can agree with reddragon. My mothers L-200 seems to be quite active. My gibby was the most active pleco I have owned.

When that L-114 gets bigger keep an eye on him around other plecos. They have a lot of hooks and spines and know how to use them.

I've got 6 plecos in one tank and not one number you've listed matches mine, I know that may seem a pointless post but if you get the advise and do it I'd love to see a picture of the tank. Good luck with the setup

Thanks guys!

I've been doing a little reading the past few days, and it seems like my "get a few plecos" idea is too simplified...gotta worry about diet and compatibility issues, etc.. Any suggestions, tips, warnings etc would be greatly appreciated.

A few pics of what I currently have -
