My polys get really active after a water change, is this normal? does yours get this active?

Dont mind my other ornate, he got burn from the heater, im trying to treat him with melafix and aquarium salt, and his getting better, i already relocate the heater too, so no more incident like this will happen
^?.....While I don't currently keep any polys my dats do seem to become a bit more active for a short period right after a water change.
To clarify. all fish becomes more active after waterchanges lol
I figured that was what you meant by that.I can't say that all fish become active after a water change but I do know that not all of my fish do so.
with most of my fish I don't notice a difference, and I've only had my senegalus for a week, but she's very active during a WC, seems fascinated by the gravel vac, then she swims around constantly for 30 min after
Kind of the same principal as going fishing after the rain. Fish Get extra oxygen, cool water triggers breeding in a lot of fish (rainy season). Im sure there are other parts to it as well.
