Activity of L160 and L264?

Just got these guys along with a L200. The Phantom is active and I see it during the day. Even saw it grab an algae wafer. The others are in the ceramic castle with the catfish and CK's. Will my Coffee and Cream and Sultan get over their shyness? They are about 5 inches long. Do I need wood for these and my common ones? Why are the common ones always active and the expensive ones are never seen. I think it is a pleco conspiracy.

Both of mine hid for 4 months straight before I saw more than an occasional fin. Now my coffee and cream is always out, and I can usually find my Sultan in plain sight but not far from safety.

Both can be seen occasionally, but that isn't to say that you will. It took 3 years for my clown to become comfortable enough to come out in plain sight.

Plecos do what they do best. You can try and be sneaky and catch them at night, but daytime is often a whole different story.

It would be a good idea to provide wood for them to rasp on. My sultan gnawed a cave out of a large chunk of wood unit he could easily fit inside it.
