picked up an ADA Mini-L with an eheim ecco 2232 for $100 on craigslist. deal of the year for me. doing a dutch tank for now until i get a larger rimless tank. this will eventually be a nature tank...

hardware:
ADA Mini-L (18" x 9.5" x 12")
Eheim Ecco 2232
pressurized co2 very high bubble count
cheap fixture with 2x 20w cfl's (ordering new fixture next week)

fertilized daily with root medic micro and macro solutions

substrate is a mix of Mr. Aqua active plant substrate and Aquasoil Amazonia

plants:
rotala macrandra
rotala sp. wagon wheel
rotala indica
rotala sp. butterfly
rotala mini pearl type 1
tonina 'belem' ?
tonina fluviatalis sp. lotus blossom
erio matto grosso ?
erio japan ?
ludwigia arcuata
ludwigia inclinata
ludwigia pantanal
downoi

i think that is it...

layout is a work in progress until the plants grow roots and stay put.

plants are growing nicely with the heavy co2 mist

Great looking so far! keep it up.

which are the plants in the foreground both the wavy broad leaf and the one that looks like a sea urchin?

i literally hounded the seller on CL for the tank to make sure i got it. haha. the ADA tanks are works of art... damn expensive though

check out plantedtank.net for plants. erios aren't sold often and can get pretty pricey. the downoi is seen more often and usually fetch $4-$10. they make a really nice foreground.
