I want to get your expert opinions. I'm planning on starting a Jag breeding project. I have a 180 with 3x Fluval 404's running. I plan on getting 6-7 baby jags and growing them out. Do you guys think that I will have enough filtration? Once I get a pair I do plan on thinning the herd and keeping only the pair.

i think the only answer is to have as much filtration as your pocket will allow

Personally, I'd ditch the 404s and jump to a larger canister like an eheim 2080, 2260 or 2262. The power consumption on the 2080 is only 6 more watts than one fluval 404. Plus these big dogs can handle quite a bit more, and will power through clogs that the fluval 404s would stop pumping on.
