can you add your own window to a indoor pond. Like cut out the hole and use plexy. Just seal it to the inside.

You do it like a bulkhead. Frame your plexy, put on the inside of the tank, put another frame on the outside and silicone between each layer. Use Good quality S.S. bolts every two inches around frame w/ nuts on outside. Done. Easy huh? :grinyes:

I'm looking at doing something similar. the problem I'm having is finding a stock tank 600 gallons or so with no ridges on the inside.keep us updated with what you come up with.I'm thinking the sides need to be smooth to seal the glass to it.

well what im thinking is a 8ft long x 2 ft high side made with wood with a liner in it but one side will have a window in it maybe 7ft x 1 1/2 ft. can I make it work

Yes, the bulkhead system will work for you especially well because of your low water pressure on the seams. And use angle S.S. for the frame.
