Took my little girl fishing this morning, hoping to catch 2-3 more longear to add to my native tank with a warmouth 1 longear and 1 redspotted sunfish. We were catching lots of fish, mostly small redspot's. They are starting to bed up and are thick. I wasn't planning on adding any more redspot's to the tank, but we caught one that is the most briliantly colored red spot I've ever seen. We kept him for the tank and 2 longears. One of the longears is considerably smaller than everybody else so I'm not sure if it will work out.
There is lots of pushing and shoving going on now, I'll see how it all shakes out. I've got the lights out on the tank right now, but in a day or two when everybody starts to settle down, I'll get some pics.
