added a filter need advice

currently running a eheim wet dry canistor and a fluval 404 I took the fluval out and added a eheim pro 2 I put bio support in the pro 2 its a 90 g i'm worried that it may not ebstablish well because i'm using a uv sterlizer on the tank also
any body see any probem with this ie should i shut down the uv for a while or just increase water changes or am i being paranoid ..
 
Is the eheim brand new? If you could ,try to transfer some media over from the fluval
to the eheim. Turning the UV off specially if the tank is not established would be a good idea.
 
the tanks ebstablished i opted not to use the media from the fluval because of the crappy bypass problem had a fish carcass in the bottom and it smells like it gone anerobic.. the pro 2 is new old i had it layiny around and washed it out to kill any bad bacteria
 
Add some Bio-Spira in to the filter i did that to my 56 gallon tank to make it cycle QUICk.

did that already my main concern is the uv sterlizer they knock out the host bacteria in the water table but i'm a little worried about ammonia spikes while the filter ebstalishs not sure if the wet dry can keep up with it the pro 2 will ebstablish but how long or if it will at all..
 
I dont know what to tell i never used a Uv Mabe add the Bio spira to the wet dry and not the Canister.

Howdy,

I share your concerns. Why don't you just turn the UV off for a few weeks and add bottled bacteria during that time?
