added a mississippi map turtle in my 90 gal

well i decided to give it a try, yesterday i found a cool new lil reptile shop. they are selling juvi map turtles for 15 bucks (about 2inches) so i bought one and put it in my 90 gal. at first i was a lil worried he might get eatn but he's doin just fine in there, he spends most of the time just baskin on a floatin log i bought for him. and its soo cool to watch him swimmin around with my fish. my monsters dont seem to care tha he's even in there.....awesome

Do you have proper lights for him? Small basking turtles need a UVB and heat source. I find maps aren't as bad fish eaters as many of the other North American turtles.

yeah i set him up nice in one corner of my tank....he's just so cool to have in there
