Well I added a golden clown knife to the tank today. My aro seemed quite interested in him and swam next to him for a while to assert himself. Hopefully they will work out together and I wont find the knife dead tomorrow....:irked:

Well the Knife is just a bit longer then the Aro. My tank has a few great spots for the knife to hide so I am hopeful. After the first night the knife has no signs of getting beat up.

One of the members here has a silver, lungfish, clown knife and gator gar all in the same tank, they are alright together with him. I hope it all works out for you! best of luck! Keep us posted!
 
I have my 13" jar with clown loachs, a ripsaw cat and a senegal bichir for over a month without to much trouble. Though it seems that Jars get uglier with age so I am not to hopful but I have seen some other friendly Jars that were in the two foot range.
 
one mix i've seen to work out with a jardini is a manos, there so quick they stay alive pretty well. i saw a them together for almost 8 months.
