Added some plants...

Aight DM, I went to Wally world and got some ivy to put in my tanks, looks pretty cool actually. Given a couple of weeks it should be pretty pimp looking. It looks like the leaves are in the tank, but really they are behind the tank, just for future reference. Thanks again for the idea DM, looks great bro!

I got a similar setup going, but my leaves are growing in the tank and spreading roots.

Is it the same type of plant? I thought about puttin the leaves in the tank to give more cover/shade but I'm a little worried about the plants doing something to the water, you think its alright though? Will they run across the water surface? that would be so cool if they all shoot runners down!

It doesnt have the yellow marbling your plant has, mine is all green. I just posted pics about household plants

I've used ivy several times with good results.If you bury the stem and leave the leaves exposed it will spread and make great ground cover. It's also almost imposible to kill. I had a pot outside where there was some growing.it dissappeared in the winter and the pot turned into an ashtray.Afew months later i walked outside and it had started growing back.
