Been awhile since I've messed with the 125s scape so I decided to do some minor tweaking. I figured since this is mainly a south america cichlid tank now I would add more rock work. I have the clowns in there too but they love the rocks too. I added about 10 to 15 more pounds, mainly to the middle of the tank since I had the extra rock in my basement. I still want to add a little more to the sides but I have to find more. I also cut down the swords in the back in hopes of having them branch out more and get fuller. Any opinions or suggestions welcomed.

Looks great, all that's missing is some floating plants. A big centre piece fish would look cool imo, guess the geos still have growing to do tho i guess. Maybe a pair of heterospilus... looks great.

You can't see it in this pic but I have a monster angelfish in there. Easily 7 to 8 inches from fin to fin. I figured he's my Center piece fish. I had water sprite floating at one time but I got tired of the mess.

Would love to see pics of the angel, I think the wood scaping is superb; that's the type of set-up I'd try to emulate if I go for a rectangular set-up at some point on a larger scale.

Looks very clean and the lighting is great, the rockwork in the middle is at risk of starting to look a bit forced or unnatural in the way its laid out IMO.

I understand what your saying about the rock work, but since I've made more cave like crevices the Geos and acaras are loving it. Even the clowns are using the Areas.

His mate is in there she's a gold veil. I've tried to get them to spawn in their own tank but they will only spawn in this community tank and of course the eggs never make the night. I've tried everything when I had them in their own 20H and couldn't get them interested. He runs the tank, I have a breeding pair of acara in there too and the male angel and male acara go at it but the angel will usually win. But they don't tear fins or anything. They've pretty much have claimed their own half's of the tank.
