those look like black calvus to me but i am no expert on these fish.

Did some research on these. I am a research nut. Turns out they are white calvus. they can just turn really dark like this when they feel threatened or are hunting. Since you just changed the sand I am guessing they will go back to normal after a few days. They are probably just stressed.

I love calvus but they are rarely available near me and when they become available I don't have the room. Good luck with yours.
