I have a tank with one 6'' pbass, two 7'' pbass, and a 7'' silver aro. I just got a new 4'' pbass and was wondering if he would be ok to put in the tank with them? Or just leave separate for now till he gets a little bigger?

i would be more concerned about the aro eating the 4" bass

Ok thanks guys. I guess i didnt think about that. The aro seemed to be less aggressive than the bass. Plus when I used to feed them feeders the aro never would eat them only pellets. Thanks for the replies!

Just put up a partition until the 4" bass is big enough

x2...this will also allow you to see their reaction. I wouldnt be worried about the aro. But get another inch or so on that bass and you should be good. Hekk it may work now but Id go the divider route.

They will eat whatever can fit in their mouths. That's the rule if thump I go by. Look how big there mouths are when they yawn if you think the 4" will fit in it then there is a good chance they will try and eat it!

Im a bad judge of that. Im having a issue with a silver dollar right now stuck in my pbass mouth. I just started a thread on it. If anyone here has any idea what I should do... any help would be appreciated!
