I was thinking about adding a sengal or 2 to my 100g but I was worried that they would eat my corries eventually. I have seen other people keep them together but I know that many people say the will eat just about anything they can fit into thrir mouths. Really like the little guys but dont want them to choke to death on a emerald cory.

Depending on the size of the senegal but it will try to eat the cories when they get bigger

Well I just got him and he is aclimating right now. Paid 7 bucks for him so I didn't think that was too bad. Got him with the idea that maybe he will grow up with them and not eat them but have plans to move the corries if he shows intrest down the line. Right now there is no possible way he could fit them in his mouth and as small as he is I dont think he would think about it either. anyways when the lights come on tomorrow I will try to get some pictures of him if he decides to come out. Also at this evil place where i got the Birchir I saw some Oscars labeled tiger oscars 14.99 lg but they definatly looked like wild caught to me. No tiger patter on them at all but a very well defined tail spot. Also a drab tand olive color. Sorry this is getting long trying to kill time waiting for Sal to aclimate.

I have seen them with oscars before and the water conditions are close enough that they should not be a problem. Right now my oscar is not big enough to eat him although he is tiny. But I have always been one to just try things and see how it goes. I like comming on here and asking to see hoe much I need to worry and be ready for plan B

lol for real. . . checking to see if im waisting my money. im up for a challenge. im just about to hook up co2 so i can have a nice forest for the fish to hide. much like the redwood curtain of humboldt county

the thing about the moment they decide to try and eat the cories (and fail at it), you wont be around, and you'll come home to a dead senegal, with a dead corie trapped in it's jaws.

don't do it my friend.

If the "evil" place your talking about is Petsmart then the Oscars are just dull red/tiger Oscars they're farm raised. And Petsmart is not "evil" they just need to work on they're employee education....I agree don't put Sens in with Cories (they have no long term "passion" for "friends")
