My female GT is a juvi alone in a 60g. Was wondering if i added a male of the same size would be a good idea? The female juvi has a temper on her i have noticed.

It could work but there needs to be hiding places, and some thing to distract them from one another. I also see issues once they start to get bigger

It is doable but you have to make sure they are both are around the same size. Like someone said a few hiding spots goes along way. If you took the female GT out of your tank and where able to reset her home turf advantage by adding her back in with the male so basicly both would be on level playing feild you should be ok. You could try adding the male to the tank with the female also but you would have to keep and eye on them to make sure one wasnt beating up the other one to bad or they could hit it off just fine. Just make sure you have female and male haha.

It can work. Currently Ive got a F1 Male female pair of A. Stalsbergi GT's that are doing great. They will end up in a 90 as they get bigger. I added them together so it as a little different. But plenty of hiding spots. In your case what id do it remove all the decor. Eliminate all territory or hiding spaces Then remove the Female. Then add both the fish togetherwith no known territories. Be sure to rearange the decor in a way thats different. it should change the boundries and territory that the female had set up.
