My first question is it even possible? Will the oscar attack the turtle or will the turtle ever have the guts to attack the oscar.

From reading on here I would say it too risky. Turtles can easily grab fish while they are resting at night. Not to mention keeping the water clean would be a lot of work.

Thanks man that's all that I was looking for hahah the turtle has turned into a no go

Can it be done, yes. Do i recommended it, no. Turtels create a hige amount of waste, not only that but they do get big and will eat fish. They are not very intelligent and go off of instinct. What might look lile food has to be food..... the oscar wont harm it unless it is bite size, this set up is done better with fish that get much larger then oscars. Im not saying it wont work the real question is how long will it work for.....

I had a turtle with an Sagittae and a Labiatus for maybe a month. The lab was fine but the sagittae was so interactive with me that the turtle would sneak up on him and try to take a chunk out of him. I rehomed the turtle.

Yes it is possible. Only if u introduce both species at a younger age. So that they get used to each other. However turtle are somewhat dumb so they might try to grab a chunk out of ur oscar no matter how big is the Oscar.

It depends on the size of the tank and type of turtle. I keep Musk turtles with my Oscar and other fish. A RES or similar would probably not be a good idea in the long run unless you have a large enough tank.
