Depends on your state rules and your tank. U need to post tank size, it's parameters, fish in the tank, etc

that tank is'nt nearly large enough for a pike. even a one year old fish will be better than 24 inches. plus many states have size limits. if you take an undersized fish, even for an aquarium, you will be fined if caught.

Hi, i dont know about pike since i'm in singapore...but i'm sure that if you want to put the fish into your tank, you can't put it in immediately. You have to put the fish in a plastic and slowly add the aquarium water into the bag of fish. Add slowly for about 1 hour and let it get used to your tank water as aquarium water and river or reservoir water are different. After that.its ready to explore your tank! Hope this helps:)

Grass or Redfin Pickerel would be better. They are small, and they dont need cold water. But a Northern Pike would not be suitable, nor would a Muskie or a Chain Pickerel.
