Hey guys just wanted your opinion on which bichir to add to my 180. Currently I have 2 senegal (5-6”), 2 delhezi (6”) and a teugelsi (11”). I was originally wanting a palmas buettikoferi and can get one at 8”, but I feel they may look too similar to the teugelsi. I can also get a palmas palmas at 6”, and I like the black barring they have. What are your guys thoughts? Most species are available to me, and I’d like to stick with the upper jaw due to tank size. Retropinnis, palmas polli, etc. Let me know what you think! I’ll attach a picture of the buettikoferi and palmas palmas i’m interested in. The top is the buettikoferi and the bottom is the palmas palmas.
