Adding fish

Hello I am trying to add a 5 inch silver arowana to my South American tank. I tried to put it in yesterday but my 6.5 inch oscar had the head of the arowana in its mouth. Right now I have three oscars, 6 or 7 black belts and one convict. I will also be adding a shovel nose into the aquarium. In September they are all being moved into a 280

Keep separate for now. The aro will be growing real fast and it maybe the other way around soon for the oscar.

Plan a bigger tank than the 280g Those are big fish if planning to keep for life.

I will for sure be building a bigger one in the future and the plans are t set in stone I just know the minimum will be 280 I'm hoping for around 375
