I have a 48 gallon show that is currently housing about 18 to 21 africans just can't get a good count. But I found a guy that has 6 2 inch fronts and is wanting to sell them to me for 40 bucks. Yes all of them. So I am wondering if this would work for now until we move in next 2 months or so where at the new house they will have there own tank to themselves. The tank now has 2 AC70s and plenty of rock work and such. Please feel free to comment send ideas email or PM does not matter.

what kind of fronts are they? as for that tank... I personally wouldnt do it if the tank is full of agressive mbuna (but i dont know what you got). It works for some and not for others, just not my personal reccomendation. They woold be best in less agressive tanks if they are to be mixed and even better in species only tanks. Honestly it already sounds like you got a lot of fish as it is I dont think I would be adding anymore. If you move and get them a new tank you need a 125gal min, but I personally think the 150gal tank is better and is a bit wider. If you cant provide a large tank for them then it is better to let them go to a home that can house them when full grown.

18-21 africans......................OVER CROWDED IMO...
No room for others even a small snail.

but I dont want to pass up those fronts even though it is for a short period of time

Well if you can't adqualtey house them you really shouldnt get them. I have had to pass up a lot of good deals because I didnt have the tank room or the spare tank, it only gets you introuble later especially if you cant afford to buy the larger tank when you move. If you can't buy a 125+ for them in the very near future then dont do it. Those fronts will grow quicker than you think and that tank is just not a good size at all especially with the fact that you already have a lot of other fish in it. You can also risk throwing the balance off in you tank now (if everyone gets a long) and end up having more injured/dead fish over territory space and dominant issues with the new fish. Would you rather go through that? or would you rather see them go to a proper sized tank and proper tankmates (if any at all)? You really should think about it and how it affects the fish.
