ok fish ppl. i currently have 4 fronts of my own. biggest is about 12" and smallest is about 7. i am getting 2 sets of fronts from 2 different ppl. one seller is selling 12 (sizes range from 5"-9") and another seller is selling me 7 (biggest is like 12")

so my plan is to pull my own existing ones out of the tank along with the decor and throw them all in at once and then put decor back in.

i was told a) having an over crowded tank helps keep agression down and b) keep the biggest male out and add him last or even an hour after you are done adding all the other fish

pls give me your own experiences in adding fish together of same species.

Way to many in my opinion, what size tank are they going in. Crowding does not work with Fronts they like their space.

In a 180 you would like 10-12 adults, I would simply add the new Fronts. Your problem will be with the males, they will either get along or kill each other. What type of Fronts.

If I'm reading that right, you're thinking of 23 in a 180? Way too many. In a 180 I'd do 8-12 depending on m/f ratio and obviously size.

Also I'd remove your current fish, rearrange the tank and add all the fish. Expect some fighting to establish dominance.
