Depends.. I had a gold wolf who I sold because it was very aggressive.. almost decapitated my red wolf and other gold...I have another one that is in a tank with a red wolf and they’re fine.. I noticed wolves are more individual characters..Tank is 7'x30"
1 vittatus, 1 odoe pike, flagtail, red hooks and tinfoils. They are all about 6". Can I add a gold wolf? will be about same size.
Asking because my past african pike terrorized my larger mala.
Oh.. This does not sound promising.. I've never had golds before, if you say they occupy same swimming area with the odoe then I don't like the chances very much. I don't want to setup another tank in case they do fight. I wish there was some way to test the fish out before buying lolI’d add with caution as long as there’s some area of cover to hide. Could end with similar result when added the mala even though it was more on the bottom area. The gold and odoe will occupy the same swimming area. Let’s see if there are any fireworks.
I didnt notice u said u have a vitattus.. i dont think its a good idea to put a wolf in there let alone Gold who is more of a mid/top swimmer.. Golds like to test other fishes. ur vittatus will prolly kill itTank is 7'x30"

Yeah I was on the fence about it from the start. Golds come rarely in my area so had to ask if somehow possible. Good thing I asked first? cheers guysI didnt notice u said u have a vitattus.. i dont think its a good idea to put a wolf in there let alone Gold who is more of a mid/top swimmer.. Golds claimed get to 14” and i havent known anyone with one that size.. mostly 12-13“ and thats years of keeping..If u really want to put a wolf in there i suggest something that gets as big as ur vitattus or close to it like Malabaricus or go balls to the wall and get an AimaraYeah I was on the fence about it from the start. Good point. When playing with expensive predators it’s best to play it safe and ask first. Both are rare, expensive fish and it would be a shame for something to happen to either of them.Golds claimed get to 14” and i havent known anyone with one that size.. mostly 12-13“ and thats years of keeping..If u really want to put a wolf in there i suggest something that gets as big as ur vitattus or close to it like Malabaricus or go balls to the wall and get an Aimara.. hey no harm in asking, i ask alot here too.. better ask than regret it.. gold will prolly get killed by ur vitattus but im sure he wont go down without a fight and scar ur priced investment VATF...
