I have a jardini that was raised in a tank by itself most if not all its life and is now about 13 inches. He's pretty mean and attacks my hands if i put it near the top of the tank. Ive been thinking about adding another jardini of the same size to the tank...do you guys think the chances are good? Also what could be done to better the chances of adding another jardini? Has anyone tried this?

Most of the fish have been together for over a year since the jar was 6". the only fish he's killed are smaller fish that were introduced later (african pike and asian aro). I think the reason he killed these is that they are similar in shape to him and thus seen as a threat/competition. I have since added clown loaches, a tememsis, a frontosa, and (this week) a 8" royal knife with no problems.
My point is that it is possible for a jar to live with other fish, but you're lucky if it happens. In your case, 2 aros in the same tank is usually a very bad idea and yours has never lived with other fish. So I'm guessing that you'll just end up with at least one dead jar at the end of their first day together.
