Hello there..
I currently have a 60 gallon African cichlid tank and I'm looking to swap the Africans with a green terror American cichlid. Now...
I have seen a juvenile green terror that I want to add to my tank. My plan is to have him in there on his own with some dither fish. However.. The juvenile is about 1 inch and I want to add him with the Africans until he grows a little bigger (it will look a bit silly with a 1 inch fish in a 60 gallon tank.
My question is will the Africans attack the juvenile? I have yellow Labs and yellow tail acei..
Many thanks

Yes they will probably attack him, as they would any 1" cichlid coming into their established territory. Adding one cichlid of any species to an established tank is always difficult. I would really just get rid of the mbuna first, no sense in having your nice new GT killed or torn to shreds. If anything, get rid of all the mbuna and buy 4 or 5 1" GT's, then at around 4" sell the rest and keep your favorite.
