Canada... i wish.
Ok so my three 8" silvers are currently on tilapia, blood worms and the occasional krill. Would it be a bad or good idea to add live crickets or superworms to their diet? The only thing I would be worried about if they would keep preferring live instead of preferred.

Variety is best. I don't think you would really run into that problem unless you overfeed them on crickets and SW.

I feed my black aro - SW, Canadian Night crawlers, Shrimp, Hikari Carnivore sticks and Massivore.

good idea just make sure to gutload your crickets

Alright thanks. Btw what is the diff between super worms or mealworms?

super worms are bigger and badder. they are also diffewrant from a breeders perspective
gutload is when you give the cricket a good vitamin rich diet so they have good nutritional value when you feed them

Ooo ok. I'll have to go pick some up

What should I gutload them with?

You may find that they prefer the live over any other foods offered. If it gets to the point that they will only eat the live, then stop feeding it until they get back eating all foods offered.

Ok. I think I'll just give them live nice a week so they don't get too used to it
