Adding male flowerhorn

I am thinking about getting a flowerhorn pair. If I have the solo female(6") in a 220 would it be possible to add a male if it is of similar size? How is aggression between males and females?

A single female in a 220 ???? God .... u can definitely try adding a male ... though its a big tank .... starting up with a divider would be gud and safe I think ...

Yes that would be great... try finding a male that is 2" bigger than her because if he is her size and she TEST HIS MIGHT and can't stand his ground.... then she will continue to hand out ass whipping to him. I also agree with zz red dragon about the divider.
Any pictures of the lady in her 220?

220 liters or gallons?

If its gallons definively yes but get a divider if the things go wrong.
