Adding my Ornate to the 120.

I am adding my bigger ornate to my 120 in hopes the smaller male can teach her to eat something else besides shrimp pellets. That was actually all she would eat, about 3 days ago she stopped eating them too.

Thursday I am going to get some more market shrimp and going to see if i can find some massivore pellets that have a decent size to them. I have a crap load of frozen krill but all my fish won't eat it.
 
Okay maybe it was a bad idea... The 2 ornates were fine at first, now when they are near each other they constantlly fight. I thought they would go great together. Guess I was wrong.
 
What size are they? Are the fish in your signature their tankmates?
 
they are doing really good now. i don't know what they were doing before but i love it. the bigger one i thought had no personality. she has more personality then my smaller one and his is better now with her in the tank too. and she's alot darker now. more color.
 
They were establishing dominance and settling a territory dispute.

My philosophy is to leave them together and let them sort it. But I agree with Uting, if it get out of hand (and it can) and one is completely terrorized, then separate and try again after it recovers.

Sounds like they'll be okay though.

My small sen big my new baby ornate today, even with food in the tank. It made no sense because it leaves the baby endli alone. That's just the way they are lol
 
yeah they are done now i think and hope... i just checked on them she is up in the floating plants... i think she might be sizing up my pbass.
but they are getting along pretty good now when the 2 run into eachother its like they sniff eachother like dogs do then go about their business.
