adding new fish after ick outbreak..

i have 2 oscars and i was planning on adding a clown knife today.. however i woke up this morning and my oscars had ick (maybe a sign they dont want anymore fish to live with )... so i treated them and followed the advice on this site (thanks!) when it clears up how long should i wait before adding new fish?

Keep up the salt and temp treatment for a week to 10 days after the last spots disappear. This will kill any newly germinating spores. After that, it should be safe to introduce new tankmates.

after treating them the last two days both oscars are almost completely cleared! its hard to see any ick "dots" but i can point out about 2 small ones on both.. so i'll probably do one more treatment.. thanks again!
