i am looking to add some more fish to my 80 gallon community tank i am looking at spiny eels and really any other exotic or rare fish i can find any ideas?:)

now i have an african black knife, bosemans rainbows x 3 black skirt tetras x 2 buenos aires tetras x 3 a bumblebee catfish and golden wonder killifish x4 its really a mix of everything. the tank is a bowfront 48 long x 26 high and 20 deep
i was also looking at elephant noses and bgk i used to have all of these back last year any ideas

elephant noses are not a good idea, they get a foot long, don't adapt well to captivity in anything except a biotope, and are bothered by other fish with electrical charge (like ur abk). I wouldn't do this personally.

If i was you I'd get more of the same kinds of tetras, as they like big groups

First of all the multiple electrical fields in one tank is a myth, second african brown knives do not run on a electrical sensory system such as black ghost knife fish. Even still I do not recommend them for your tank as they are normally difficult to keep, tempermant wise. Most eels in that family will get of size too eat smaller tetras, your probably alright with what you have but its worth mentioning. Also becareful which spiny eel you end up with only 2-3 stay small enough for your tank. As for more oddballs I would look into some loaches, maybe other smaller catfish. There are many options do you have any other interests besides spiny eels?
