Hello all...I have had 3 oscars that have had to be separated into three tanks and now I that I have moved most of my fish from one of them into a 125g, all that is left is my medium oscar, about 8 inches, that has been depressed with no one to pick on in his tank. I have my second tank, a 55g that I have had my smallest oscar, about 7 inches in with 7 convicts and they have been getting along great for months. I just added the medium oscar to that tank and noticed that the smaller one is being way more aggressive to the bigger one, mouthing him on his sides and just positioning itself right near the other one. I have heard some splashing and some uprooting of plants, which I expected, but I am unsure as to whether or not I can leave them there together overnight to see if time alone will be enough to have them live together comfortably. I wish I could put him in with my albino oscar in the 125, but the albino just chases him everywhere and ruins everything in the tank plus made huge peck marks on him, so I didn't want to chance it letting them work things out. But since I added the med one in with the smaller one, I thought they should be able to work things out without killing one another. I know some of you will say that my tank is too small, but things have been fine and I dont have anything else, so I dont need to hear any comments on that, thank you.

The tank size is something that you don't want to hear about. It's also the source of your trouble. So that really ties our hands in suggestions without upsetting you on your thread. Best of luck to you though. Take care and welcome to MFK!
