in the last 2 years i never add anything to my tank, just straight up tap water whenever i did w/c..just wondering if this is ok? should i add Prime or StressCoat or just salt?
Although it is generally not a good idea to add untreated tap water to an aquarium it appears it isn't causing adverse effects. I would still however use some Prime, but it does depend on the quality of your tap water.
