adding pacus to my tank

is it possible to add red belly pacus to my RBP tank? I just wanted to add 1-2 just to see what would happen. Is this a good idea or just simply dumb ? any suggestions will help, thanks guys!
 
It's possible but they grow 3x bigger then a rbp, so unless u plan to upgrade to a 300+gallon tank I wouldn't.

Definitely will not then. Gf already complaining about 80G... I was like beb... This is nothing >.<
 
Yea my tanks are in my bedroom, and she's always like "the waters to loud" and I'm like "uh it helps me sleep"

I just can't trust my roomates with my fish , business and pleasure just don't mix, not to mention liability.

Seriously, I don't even my girl alone in the living with the tank... I can only imagine how it would be with a roommate... Crazy stress!
 
just saw your sig, you have 10 4-5" pygos in your 80g? hope your aggressive 5'4" GF allows you to upgrade soon
 
Probably going to have to buy her some clothes or shoes to convince her >.> she's felt bad for me becuz I haven't had fishes for like 6 years so said she will buy me a "small" tank. ;P when I got the small 80G, she was like this sh** is not small ! BAHAHAHAHA but honestly it is small to me..She will not fall for it twice.
 
Could always thin the heard and sell em for more money when they get a little bigger say, 5-6" u could hold 4 or 5.

I can try but here in CA is you know, a no-no. Gotta do it too discreetly which rather keep then go through trouble. Haha there are my babies after all. Just try my best to feed slowly at low temps
