I have a common pleco that's now about 10in in my 125g, with my 3 tinfoil barbs and 2 pictus cats. My question is if I wanted to add another pleco of a smaller variety, would there be an issue with the existing one in a tank that size?

I'm looking for a type of pleco about 4in or so, have not decided on which one yet.

Also just to add, I have an XP3, and 2 HOB penguin 350's for filters, and the TFB's will be moving soon to my 150g, and replaced by 2 severums.

We're kind of leaning towards getting rid of our last 2 commons. The one is really nice looking, though, so it will be a tough call. Between my broter's home and mine we do have tanks big enough to keep him, though.

I like the leopard and gold nuggets.

If you are talking about an L-114 when you say leopard pleco you could have issues with housing it with another pleco. They can be territorial and aggressive and grow around 13".

I'd really like a blue eyed, but I doubt there's any chance of getting my wife to agree to the price tag!

Well I got brave last night and asked her about buying one. She laughed, of course, then went on to say that I 'waste' enough money on all these tanks and fish I have now. I take it that was a NO!
