So Here's what I have

55gal
Moonlight Sand
0 on Nitrate Nitrite and Ammonia
7.6 PH, 120 ppm Alkalinity, "Moderate" DH
AC50 that was cycled for one week on my current tank
+Water Changes with old water & Anubias plants from old tank.
Its been four days

Would it be safe to add my Senegal and or My Endli to the new tank or should I wait till Monday. Why I ask is with my Ctenopoma has become VERY territorial and only attacks my Sen, and I don't want to kill my fish adding them to the new tank either Thanks :) DarthScohin

you best move that senegal ASAP. sounds like all is chemically well in the new tank. why wait? maybe i'm missing something. if so, i apologize.

Your tank isn't cycled yet if you don't have any nitrates. You did good by using your current tank to help boost the cycle, but you missed one key element.....ammonia. The beneficial bacteria you added from your current tank will just die if it doesn't have ammonia to eat. I say add the senegal to help the cycle, as they are really hardy, and it's getting picked on in your current tank. Keep an eye on the senegal, and remove if any signs of stress. Also check your params daily, and do water changes if ammonia is too high. I would also buy a bottle of prime to reduce the effects of the ammonia and nitrite spikes you are going to have. Good luck
