plants will not tolerate salt

Depends on the plant, java fern, vallisneria, anubius and some others will tolerate a low or even brackish salinity, but many other plants won't.
Some that do, such as vallisneria may melt down though, but can return.
But as HybridHerp asked, why would you want to? Treatment for ich?

I have a school of angelfish and some other fish that I wanted to avoid cramming into a qt tank if possible. I
The reason I asked was because of what I believe to be a fungal infection on my angelfish and their tank mates.

I have-
Hornwort, Cardinal Plant (Lobelia cardinalis), Needle leaf Ludwigia, Ludwigia Repens, Anubias Bateri broad leaf.

Right now i have some kind of water lillys in my tank with a little bit of salt and i havnt had any issues so far. I keep the salt to a bare minimum though, mostly to help benefit the fish.
