I have a geo with what looks like hith it was purchased cheap with 2 small leasions on its head , after the last waterchange it now has 5 small holes and has been bashing its head on ornaments in the tank just wondering how much salt i can add to my community tank 120gal my stocking list goes 2 oscars ,2, geophagus red heads, 1 salmon cat,1 mystus cat, 2 plecos (common) 1 gold severum ,1 green terror, 1 blue acara.

Do you have photos of the affected areas? It doesn't sound like you quarantined the geo after all if you were trying to ask the dosage of salt for your main tank. I always recommend quarantining every new fish regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, not all people are up to this procedure that would save you the trouble of worrying over diseases that could potentially wipe out thousand bucks worth of fish.

If I were you, separate that fish now while you caught it early assuming we are dealing with an issue that normally confines itself on one host only. From there, what you must do is try improving its vitamin intake by varying its food intake. Make a schedule of high fiber diet in the morning, more protein at lunch or dinner and combine both on dinner. Treat with praziquantel and 0.3% dosage of salt (3 teaspoons per gallon). Your geo should be fine with it. Use table salt when you do so. Dissolve first and add to the tank carefully. Until its condition improves, I'd not advise putting it back in the main tank.

On the other hand, does your LFS use RO water? What was their maintenance routine? Do they have a clean record in terms of maintenance and quality of fish in general? You might want to know from them their history so you will find out how the geo got the lesions.
