I've got a mature 90 gallon Mbuna tank where everyone grew up together and get along very well. I never see even a hint of torn fins.
I've hadn't thought about adding any juvies to the tank until a Yellow Lab fry took an overflow ride and ended up in a filter sock. I put him in my 30 gallon for a couple of weeks then back in the 90. He's been living very well in the rocks and spends more and more time out in the open where nobody bothers him much. This got me thinking about adding a juvie group since the original fish are maturing and growing old. This tank is in the main part of the house and much enjoyed so I'd like to keep things going.
I chose the original group with peacefulness in mind. Can anybody recommend a species that would be different enough from the existing group to get along with them?

The current stock is:

Yellow Labs
Rusties
Metriaclima sp. Dolphin
Yellow Fin Acei

Thanks

Id get a maingano mbuna cichlid had success keeping them with the same fish you have and others. They bred and actually the babies That I missed survived hiding in the rocks.

That's an excellent suggestion. Thanks!
I was first confusing that with Johanni. I've had them in the past and they're brutal!
I see the maingano is listed as "mildly aggressive". In the Mubuna world you can read that as mellow. LOL
