Like a typical newbie to forums i posted this message already but in the WRONG forum...So i hope i don't get chastised for posting again but my Cichlid question will probably get more responses in the Cichlid forum....so here goes again...
I have a 150 gallon tank with
2-plecos (1 -18" and 1- 10"
3-Afra mara lion
3-Tropheus Aurora
10- Aratus
4-White top Afra
1 Dempsey...An orphaned
fish i took in
My question is could i add a colony of 8-10 Tropheus Red Moliro to my tank? I realize Tropheus do not do well on high protien diets so could i switch over to a 1/2 veggie based flake and a 1/2 reg. cichlid flake. I would really like to add the Reds to my tank but not at the peril of my existing fish....I have another big tank in my garage but i would probably catch some major flak from my wifey if i set up another 150 gallon tank in the basement....Any suggestions on how to keep the Tropheus with the Mbuna would be greatly appreciated....
