Just curious as to what you think.
I've got a Fahaka, currently about 4", in a 180 gallon tank with 5 Tiger Barbs. My filtration is a 40 gallon wet/dry with about 20 gallons of water and 7 gallons of small bio-ball, powered by an AC 802 powerhead, running about 450GPH, a Fluval 404 with 2 chambers of bio-media and a Fluval 403 with 1 chamber of biomedia. So with the wet/dry turning over the tank about 2.25 x and hour, and the 2 Fluvals only doing a combined 3.5 x an hour am I underfiltered? I'm pretty sure I have enough biomedia, my nitrates are always low with no ammonia or nitrites but I'm a little concerned about water turnover and movement. My tank is drilled with 3 holes but I'm using 2 of the holes with plumbing fittings for the canister filter intakes. Should I up the flow through my wet/dry by using another of my drilled holes and getting a larger, say an 800 gph pump?
