currently i like over slightly stocked tanks and am looking into making a pauldaquarium / more like shallow area that is well planted with just enugh room for fish frogs to enjoy, but with a tall tank so thyres room for swiming curently 8 adfs 10 bloodfins 10 jumbo neons 6 zebra dino 2 orange glowfish 2 green glowfish 2 austrailian rainbows 2 redtailed sharks 3 ghoast catfish 8 plattys and 4 black kuli loaches. all in 25gal so thyrs room up top for shallows-its been rocky start to now but everyones happy including the frogs-which is what its really about in this tank the other was a 10 gal that started out as a nursing tank that took on a life of its own of adfs and some fish and loaches-i have been making my own filters with more filtration to acheive thyr happy living to compansate for the over feeding and waste ld-i started adding onto my hang on filter and later added a powerhead comb filter for an experiment that seems to work so far-but im still looking for a way to do a 1/2 water 1/2 shallow tall tank without loosing the room below.
