Adhesive question

I've been trying to seal a faulty , leaky bulkhead on a rubbermaid 150 stock tank....tried replacing however that didn't work due to clearance on the side wall.

Anyway I'm just going to put a patch over it, this would be inside the tank... what adhesive could be used on this material? I have a piece of 1/4" acrylic that I was going to use

i would just reposition the bulk head. You can put a thin layer of silicone around the gasket if that doesn't work.

Silicone won't adhere to stock tanks. At best, it's a temporary fix on the bottom bulkhead due to the water pressure and tank flex. Any 'all-plastics' cement available in the PVC/ABS section of your local hardware store will work on stock tanks.
