adhesives for pond coat

From various people's experiences it seems clear that pond coat + silicone isn't a good combination. It seems that pond coat will stick to cured polyurethane and butyl rubber caulks, but will these adhesives stick to cured pond coat? What would be the best adhesive to use to glue a stryofoam background/decor to a PC coated plywood tank?

More pond coat! Use the pond coat as the adhesive to attach your background.

Great idea Ross! So what would the protocol be? Just apply PC to both the tank and styrofoam and just press together? Is clamping pressure required to get a good bond? Also, do you know whether PC sticks to styrofoam?

I would apply to both surfaces, clamp and let it sit at least overnight. I have not tried it myself but if you'd like me to try if and let you know what I come up with I can do that. I have a Halloween tombstone made of styrofoam that needs repaired that I can test it on. In video I have seen on Liquid Rubber they stray it on styrofoam so I am pretty confident it will work.

You could really test out the pond coat and use screws

OK, I have set up a test with the pondcoat to see if it will bond to styrofoam. I should have an answer tomorrow. I applied it to both sides and clamped it.
