I am planning to add a conservatory to my house and thought to have a pool in one end, measuring 2 x 1.5 meters. I hope to be able to have a pair of micropeltes and perhaps an AUL. But is this possible at all considering the aggressiveness of the Channas?

I would not put an expensive fish with c. micropeltes. It could work but the AUL must be 2x the size of the snakehead. Still I would not risk it. You've seen them in youtube and how much it could do some damage to a fish even at the same size by tearing it apart. AUL are slower than snakehead and they have softer scales. The snakehead would tear it apart easily.

Thank you for the response. I had a notion it would be so. I think I will go with the Channas alone until I find a bargain on a pair of AUL - then the Channas will go and the AUL enter. They are such a nice species ;-)
