Adult Goonch catfish tankmates?

Has anybody kept a Goonch catfish with adult stingrays? Reason I ask is that I may try putting my 26" goonch in with some of my adult rays. What does everybody have in the Goonch tanks?

There's a thread in here, I think its in the photo section of other characins, of someone who kept 2 with some stingrays as well as atf's, a dorado and payara's.

I seen that one but he eventually moved the goonch to another tank as his ray was pregnant.

djaalix is the member in question with this combo. His goonch cats didn't bother the adult rays iirc, but he separated them for the sake of the pups and because one goonch at a big datnoid. As long as the rays are big enough to not get eaten, I think you'll be fine. I've not seen any of their fabled aggression. In my experience, the though process of a goonch goes something like "imarockimarockyoudontseemeimarock".

I'd be willing to bet my setup on it and in fact I'm strongly considering it in the future. That being said, they are still catfish and you can never trust a catfish.
