Hi guys, been some time since I last did a thread so I decided to do one to give you the perception of some interesting observations Ive been doing lately in European herpeculture as far as reptile breeding is concerned. Im amazed at the recent accomplishements that have been taken place in the field of large higher end lizard breeding. There are people working and getting some breeding results with lace monitors (even bells!), spencers monitors, mertens water monitors, crocodile monitors and several tree monitors. In the last copple of years the amazing exuma island ground iguana became available as cb from one breeder. There are currently MANY people breeding fidji island iguanas (the price is droping as well!). I would like to know how is the current situation in the states with lace monitors (is there still any people working with them at all that you know of?), mertens, crocs, and other rare species.
